Here I go again. I'm participating in the 2013 Otaku House Cosplay Idol contest. I signed in the contest encouraged by the surprising place I achieved last year. I had serious doubts about which costume to submit. I was doubting between Skarlet (boobs) and Tali (craftmanship) and I finally submitted Tali as I think maybe it's not so eye catching but it's one of the costumes we've put more effort on and one of the most accurate we've made. Yes, I'll never learn XD So I'll be very grateful if you spend a little time voting for me ♥ Thanks!!

Btw, I wanted to take this chance to tell you we've been very, very busy during last month. That's why we haven't uploaded almost any picture neither answered your kind comments. We've been making a difficult costume (at least, difficult for us) in collaboration with Infernum Productions Dragon's Phophet. We already made a fantastic photo shoot, but we can't publish anything until the producer lets us to do so. It has been such a costuming challenge for us! Another fantastic video recorded by El Niño Mutante at the last Japan Weekend convention in Madrid. We appear wearing our Borderlands 2 costumes in the minute 2:10 (and we beat the Lynchwood Sheriff up XD). Enjoy!

About two weeks ago El Niño Mutante [link] asked us to make a cosplay video beccause he wanted to try his new steady cam device. We (, , and I) agreed immediately!! I took the chance to wear my Eliza Cassan from deus Ex Human Revolution cosplay as it's my favourite one and I also appear as Skarlet because I was very excited Thelema was going to wear her Kitana costume We recorded this at El Retiro in Madrid during a freezing cold but beautiful day. It came out an amazing video. I'm so happy and grateful I could be part of this. Hope you like it.
There are more videos to come. He also recorded us wearing our Borderlands 2 costumes at the con days after and a lot more cosplayers! yay!!

He creates wonderful images, gives them a special enviroment and aesthetics. I'm so happy! This month I appear on Nintendo Gamer magazine with my OOE and CJ Shanoa costumes. I'm very excited about this because Shanoa (OOE) was my very first costume and I'm very fond of it. It brings me a lot of good memories
We attended the Japan Expo con last weekend for the first time in our life, and we were able to meet Omaru (thanks to . btw, you MUST see her Hilde costume. It's so lovely). Here I am, playing again some Mass Effect music. I was planning in recording this music this week and, as the extended cut was realeased, I took the chance to add by ear the parts they've included. I loved this song before, but the new version is very beautiful. Enjoy!
OMG, I just can't believe we made it. Yesterday we attended Expomanga 2012 (one of the most important cons in Spain and the bigger one in Madrid) being part of a 13 members SCV cosplay group. It was a dream come true. SC is one of our favourite games of all time and it was awesome we were able to gather 13 fantastic, nice and hard-working cosplayers on this purpose. We had a fanastic time. It was very hot but we didn't mind. Here you can watch our skit. Enjoy!
We won the 3rd prize!! (Technically we were disqualified because they didn't let perform more than 10 memebers per group. So winning that prize is great and we are vey happy they gave us that recognition).

After the contest we took a bunch of photos and video. I have to thank very specially Jesús Clares ([link], the photographer, for following us all day long paying attention to us, satisfying our photographic desires XD, taking lots of fantastic pictures. I'll upload them as soon as he send them to us. Personally, I also have to thank all the people that came to talk to us and to congratulate us. Some of them knew us for other costumes, some of them were fans and followers. That kind of gestures were very appreciated and rewarding. They made us feel our effort totally worth it.
And of course, thanks to our cosplay pals. This has been an unforgettable experience!
Yay! Today they gave a DD to my friend and fantastic photographer Hidrico for this picture he took and edited of my Tali'Zorah costume. I'm so happy for him. We had a great time at the studio and he made a fantastic edition work. He absolutely deserves it.
We are so happy. We are going to celebrate it drinking turian brandy, dancing like the techhnoturian and playing some ME3 multiplayer tonight!! Hahaha. In fact, we've been playing almost every night for the last month. But this is gonna be special Keelah'Selai!!
The good news is that Erikku-kun and I are finally living together. Yay!! We are pretty happy with this house and it's gonna be very funny 'cause finally we can make costumes together, no matter the time! We have two rooms for cosplaying: my sewing room and Erikku-kun's workshop.
The thing is that now we have to pay the rent and this is gonna make us make less costumes, but, on the other hand I think they'll be better as we can take more time on each plan and make everything together and hel each other 24 hours a day.
We still haven't got internet conection at home (now I'm writting this from my family's) so maybe you'll see we don't respond to your comments and we don't upload pics. Maybe this situation lasts a month (more or less).
We have a few cosplay plans for this new year we hope we can share with you all Thanks for your patience and have a fantastic 2012!!
Wow!! Today I recieved the good news that we've been featured on Kotaku... for the fourth time!!! - First time with our Lost Planet costumes. [link] - The second time with Poison.[link] - The third with Eliza Cassan and Tali'Zorah.[link] - And the fourth with Satele Shan and Tali'Zorah too.[link]
This is being a fantastic year for us so far. We've also been mentioned on several websites and we made several interviews too (Game Informer [link]. We've been also been featured on the cover of the spanish magazine "La Vida en Cosplay". Yay!
So this Jorunal is to say thank you so much everybody! Thanks for your nice comments, for the faves and thanks for watching us. Thanks for you support and thanks for sharing. We never imagined we were going to have such success. We make cosplay because we love it and we are very happy that you like our work.
By the way, I would like to take this chance to say we will continue making costumes and props but maybe not so "en masse". We are going to make a big effort for the next year, we are making a very difficult project for us (including technological armors) and It's going to take us a looooong time to complete. It's going to be a challenge for us and we hope we get it!
